Grading short film for Peter Blach
Grading for a short film called “Squash”, Directed by Peter Blach. The
film did well at the Leeds International Film Festival.
Description:
- Much of the footage was originally shot with grading treatments in mind, therefore a lot of the footage was lacking contrast.
- Particularly difficult was bringing up orange skin tones while retaining some of the turquoise colour cast of the changing room.
- The director was looking to clean up the dirty wall in the squash court which was achieved by complex keying of every cut.
- The final film look was achieved by using a superior deinterlacing tool.
