Courses

These are the courses I can offer. Most courses vary in length but tend to be around 15 hours (5 classes at around 3 hours).

    Video Post production is now available to the home user and artists at reasonable prices never before known. Suites of software like the Final Cut Pro suite have the potential to democratise media and in the future we shall see DVDs, web movies and moving images graphics being created by independent companies and artists.
    I have a lot of experience teaching post production skills from all stages of Final Cut Pro, to video effects and through to advanced DVD authoring.

    Web Design/Development courses ranging from beginners courses in blogging, social networking through to Web Design using Dreamweaver and Content Management systems.

    Courses in Photoshop and digital imaging. Lessons range from scanning to retouching and digital photography. Photoshop is a key tool in understanding all digital media software and is a great starting point for all new learners.

    Digital video cameras have revolutionised the picture quality and editing possibilities available to the home user. I have experience teaching camera skills and filmmaking across a range of courses: from absolute beginners to outreach work to LOCN accredited camera skills course.

People have realised the security benefits of using Mozilla Firefox browser and everyone now wants a blog. Business culture is set to change as a consequence of open source databases now freeing up developers from proprietary legacy systems.
